WWE SmackDown has been around for a long time. The company carefully built each episode around interesting storylines, matches, and segments. However, all of this started on a fateful day back in 1999.
The company released an intro video, celebrating the first day SmackDown aired on television. The video shows all the Superstars who pulled the company through The Attitude Era and beyond.
Some of the veteran Superstars in the video are The Undertaker, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Edge, and many others.

To this day, SmackDown remains one of the greatest shows on television in the wrestling industry. The show has come a long way from 1999 to 2021, with some wrestlers leaving, new talent being moved to the main roster, Superstars moving from Raw to SmackDown, and the brilliant matches!

Some of the older fans want WWE and Peacock TV to add the older episodes of SmackDown to Peacock’s playlist. After WWE partnered with Peacock, WWE Network stopped access to the older videos that were on the list.
This shows that WWE’s blue brand has been a fan favourite for a long time.

The primary feuds on WWE SmackDown currently
Coming to the current situation on SmackDown, the Superstars are working through their storylines and preparing for WrestleMania backlash.
The WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, is in a rivalry with Daniel Bryan, and maybe Cesaro.
Cesaro wanted a match with Reigns, but ‘The arrival Chief’ refused to give the ‘Swiss Cyborg’ a chance. Instead, he offered another match to Daniel Bryan, a Career vs. Title match.
If Bryan wins, he walks away as the WWE Universal Champion. However, if he loses, he quits SmackDown, and stops being within Roman Reigns’ vicinity.

Apart from that, Seth Rollins might be associated with Roman Reigns soon, considering that Rollins has beef with Cesaro who wants to start a feud with Reigns. If Reigns and Rollins align, they might revive the former glory of The Shield.
Talking about champions, SmackDown’s Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, is preparing for her match with Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash. The duo had feuded previously, but Belair won the Royal Rumble women’s match and was soon in a storyline with former SmackDown Women’s champion Sasha Banks.
