Major Updates on Upcoming WWE Draft for 2021 Revealed

It’s that time of the year where things are shaken up in WWE. Fans are curious as to who will get drafted from one brand to another. While we can be certain WWE will make some meaningless trades, there are some trades that are essential in order to save or restore wrestlers’ careers. But who’s career needs saving or a little bit of rejuvenation? We will leave that for you to speculate.

It has been reported that this year’s WWE Draft Picks are all set to commence on August 30 for Raw and September 3 for SmackDown.

The fans have started to speculate which Superstar will be joining the other brand. Along with already established wrestlers switching brands, WWE fans might see some new talents coming through. No official word has been disclosed about it, but the fans are speculating nonetheless.

With the ratings of WWE seemingly going down with every passing month, a shift in the roster might help. This opens up an endless ocean of storylines and title changes.

WWE needs to change tactics

The advantage of going from SmackDown to RAW is that wrestlers have an additional hour to find a spot. But the disadvantage is that RAW is a complete mess compared to SmackDown.

WWE’s creative team is constantly wasting time with repetitive or meaningless segments that the fans are tired of watching.

The fans are more interested in watching the blue brand of WWE rather than the red. This is in no way the fault of the wrestlers as we are sure they give more than their best in the ring.

But if the WWE creative officials stick to the repetitive copy & paste formula, it is bound to fail after a point. The wrestlers, as employees, just follow the script that is given to them and if they don’t, the consequences aren’t favorable.

The fans are desperately crying for something new and hopefully, this year’s draft does the trick. But if the creative team still uses the same formulas on different wrestlers, draft pick is of no use.
