WWE recruits athletes from all sports. One of their recruits who made headlines actually started out by participating in a reality show in 2008 while being a cricket player. This is the story of Rinku Singh.

Back in 2008, Rinku Singh participated in a show called “The Million Dollar Arm” in India. This show cast Indian athletes from all fields and made them tryout as a baseball pitcher.

Singh won that tournament and signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He became the first Indian to make an appearance in a professional baseball game. Unfortunately, during his term in the minor leagues, he suffered injuries that brought an end to his baseball career.
