When Floyd Mayweather Jr. Revealed the Big Show Tried to Kill Him for Breaking His Nose

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is undoubtedly one of the richest and greatest boxers in the world today. The man has never been defeated, not even in a pro wrestling ring! In fact, the 5’8″ boxer has given given the 7-foot Giant, the Big Show, a broken nose! This was an action after which ‘Money’ had to run for his life.

During an appearance on Larry King Now a few years ago, ‘Money‘ Mayweather talked about breaking Big Show’s nose at No Way Out 2008. He also talked about his match with the 7-foot tall, 440-lbs giant at WrestleMania XXIV.

Mayweather Jr. revealed he watched ‘WWF’ growing up. But his father always kept telling him it’s fake.

However, the former WBF Welterweight Champion shared it stunned him to find out that it’s actually not when he worked briefly with WWE in 2008.

“So when I got involved with the WWE, it was like, ‘you and big show gonna have a matchup.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ He said, ‘y’all can fight.’ I said, ‘What do you mean fight? Is it for fake?’ He said, ‘No. Y’all fight for real.’ Like, I thought wrestling was fake. So when I punched him in the face, you know, I broke his nose.” he said.

Mayweather Jr. further details he found out he and Big Show would face each other at WrestleMania after coming backstage. He revealed the two then went to film a commercial for their match together while the Big Show was still bleeding after breaking his nose earlier that day.

He said, “So I broke his nose earlier that night. Then later on that night, we had to film a commercial while his nose was bleeding. So I was like, ‘I know this guy want to kill me right now.’ Well, he tried to kill me at WrestleMania and of course.”

Well, if Floyd Mayweather can break the Big Show’s nose, then Logan Paul also wouldn’t be much of a problem. Let’s see how that one goes as Logan has the better reach. However, so did the Big Show and many others who tried before him.
