Ever since breaking viewership records in 2023, Caitlin Clark has repeated one thing– she understands what it means to have accessibility and opportunity. The Caitlin Clark Foundation’s official Instagram page posted a mini carousel showcasing its impact in 2025, with support from partners such as Nike, Gatorade, State Farm, Scholastic, Lilly, and Hy-Vee.

The foundation’s recap revealed a massive year of outreach:

  • 22,000 brand-new children’s books were donated to various children’s programs,

  • 1500 backpacks filled with school supplies for students,

  • Nutritious meals through local partnerships for students,

  • Four new multi-use basketball courts for community access,

All of the efforts were centered on the non-profit’s mission to open “doors for kids to learn, grow, and thrive through education, nutrition, and sports. Because when kids have the right support, their futures are changed forever.”

These updates come after the foundation recently launched the Round Up Campaign with HyVee and Feeding America to raise $300,000, amounting to over three million nutritious meals for students facing food insecurity. Behind all the causes, the 23-year-old basketball phenom has one aim…

Fans gain more respect for Caitlin Clark

Long before Clark was breaking women’s basketball records, she knew the value of opportunity. Growing up in Iowa, she knew that access to books, sports, and proper nutrition can bring big changes for good in a student. So, she uses the foundation to pay that forward.

“Great work benefiting lots of kiddos! Caitlin is such a great activist, non-performative ally, and advocate to marginalized people & communities. She has a heart of gold 🫡💯,” a fan wrote.

The foundation isn’t the only way Clark has given back to her community. She frequently attends foundation events, from school supply drives where she handed out backpacks and water bottles to students to community court unveilings, where she encourages kids to play and stay active.

The 2024 WNBA ROTY has long supported the Coralville Community Food Pantry, where she raised over $100,000 in just two years. Moreover, if not through her philanthropic efforts, Clark stays behind for at least five minutes before and after every game to sign various merchandise for her young fans. According to her, communication is one of the quickest ways to make an impact, and she’s all for it.

“You are making a meaningful difference and will only keep growing your impact. 👏🏼,” a fan wrote

Even though she has plainly confessed that the iconic #22 she wears is primarily because that’s her birth date, she hasn’t capped the number’s potential to just that. Clark uses her jersey number to guide major donations as well.

Ahead of her jersey retirement with the Iowa Hawkeyes, the young star awarded four $22,000 grants to organizations close to her heart, including the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, the Coralville Community Food Pantry, the Boys & Girls Club of the Corridor, and Special Olympics Iowa-East Central.

That’s why many echo the same feeling as a fan summed it best: “Amazing Lady she is. ❤️”

And another added, “I love that you’re committed to making a meaningful difference in your community Caitlin. You’re an inspiration. 🔥🙌”
