The World No. 1 golfer, Nelly Korda, just made one of the biggest announcements of her life, which has the sports world instantly flooded with love. Korda recently revealed her engagement to Casey Gunderson, and fans and stars alike cannot have enough of it, as Caitlin Clark, LeBron James, & others congratulate the couple.

In the latest black friday surprise, the pro-golfer took to her Instagram to share a series of romantic photos with her husband-to-be, captioned with, “In this life… & the next 💍.”

The adorable post captured the attention of some of the biggest names in sports, as they immediately jumped in to celebrate the couple. The NBA superstar, James, dropped a loud, joyful, “Congratulations!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾.” Right behind him, WNBA sensation and a golfer herself, Clark added her own heartfelt, “Congrats!!!❤️.”

As per The U.S. Sun, Gunderson serves as the Vice President of Florida Engineering and has been with the company for over nine years, and has largely stayed out of the spotlight despite Korda’s global fame. A former wide receiver at Bryant University, he comes from a big family with one brother and three sisters.

The Indiana Fever star and Clark’s teammate Lexie Hull also chimed in with, “Congrats!!! 🥂 to wedding planning!! 🫶🏻.”

Caitlin Clark’s comments come as part of a bond, which fans have watched blossom over the past year. Both stars have openly praised each other’s impact on women’s sports. Their friendship sharpened even further earlier this month when they teamed up once again in the pro-am ahead of the LPGA’s ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge event.

It was their second straight year playing as partners, and their easy chemistry has turned their pairing into a fan-favourite tradition. Whether it’s mutual admiration or shared competitiveness, the support between the two stars has become one of the most wholesome cross-sport connections.

But that’s not all, as the WNBA star also took to LeBron James’ comments recently.

Caitlin Clark Shows Her Respect for LeBron

After the Los Angeles Lakers‘ latest game against the Los Angeles Clippers, where James dropped 25 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds in 32 minutes, he took to his Instagram to post photos and videos from their 135–118 win.

The post received support and affection from everywhere, but the comment that stood out the most was from Clark. Dropping in a simple, one-word reply, she wrote, “King,” which quickly drew likes and replies, showing just how closely fans follow her interactions.

Even after an injury ended her 2025 WNBA season early, Caitlin Clark has remained active, whether through social media, serving as a guest speaker, or playing golf. But her focus will turn back to the court as she prepares to join the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2026 training camp, which will take place on December 12th and 14th in Durham.

And while the court will miss her energy until December, there’s no doubt fans will be watching every move she makes leading up to the camp.
