Before the Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions showdown, Amon-Ra St. Brown received a heartfelt boost from his girlfriend, Brooklyn Adams. She posted a heartfelt Instagram story. Timing alone made the post impossible to miss, with Detroit entering one of the biggest matchups of its season. And Adams didn’t just share encouragement, she shared history.

“You guys look at the cutest throwback I’m about to post. 8 years ago today 😩,” Adams teased, and then put out an image that would pull at the heartstrings. A few minutes later, she put out a throwback photo of the two from one of their old high-school game days.
In the pictures, Adams showed what she had worn back then, a denim jacket with St. Brown’s name carved on it.

The throwback came from the days when St. Brown was starring at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, emerging as one of the nation’s most electric young receivers. As he suited up in his game-day kit, Adams supported him from the stands, already a familiar and loyal presence in his football life.
That wasn’t a post for memory lane; it was more of a tribute to their growth together. Adams has been a steady constant in the life of the 26-year-old, and with Detroit heading into a pivotal matchup, her support couldn’t come at a better time.
Adams is so much more than an NFL girlfriend on game day: a model, influencer, and registered nurse who graduated in 2024 before making the move to Michigan to be with St. Brown after years of long-distance balancing. Her life has been full of ambition, compassion, and adaptability, as featured in Netflix’s Receiver, which had St. Brown and a few other elite pass catchers.

Beyond her own career, Adams now leads the St. Brown Foundation, which works to improve literacy in Michigan. She has quickly become a known and respected figure within community work in Detroit.
The long-distance part of their relationship ended when the two were able to buy a house together in Michigan.

Sacrifice and support have defined their relationship: Adams says she has been candid in speaking out about the reality of dating a professional athlete, the endless travel, the loneliness, the never-ending moves away from family and friends. The lifestyle is hard and challenging.
“We do so much and put up with a lot, and yes, we know what we signed up for. In no way am I complaining, but we do so much more than what we’re credited for,” she said, adding that the partnership, solidified since high school, is one of the driving reasons behind the couple’s resilience.
And on nights like this one, with Detroit’s season hanging in the balance, she isn’t just an emotional presence. She’s part of the Lions star’s foundation.

Browns’ Lions vs the Cowboys
Pro Bowl wide receiver St. Brown was a game-time decision due to an ankle injury he sustained early in Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day loss to the Green Bay Packers. He didn’t practice all week but said the ankle is getting better and that he will attempt to play if he can cut and accelerate effectively. And that’s exactly what happened.
St. Brown is active for Detroit, giving Jared Goff his No. 1 target back. Despite missing a game against the Packers, St. Brown has been one of the best receivers in the NFL this season. He has 108 targets, 75 receptions, 884 yards, and 11 total touchdowns.

Detroit hosts the Dallas Cowboys as they look to overcome their Week 13 loss, while Dallas is looking to secure their fourth straight win. With a 6-5-1 record, they will face the Lions team with a 7-5 record and remains dangerous at home.
Dallas comes into the night with one of the league’s most porous defenses, ranking 29th in total yards allowed and 30th against the pass. With St. Brown back on the field and Detroit anxious to reclaim control of their season, this prime-time showdown is set up for fireworks at Ford Field.
