The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a loss against the Buffalo Bills and a bye week before they face the league leaders Denver Broncos, in Week 11. But before the high-stakes clash, the Chiefs’ locker room had reason to smile, as linebacker Drue Tranquill shared a heartwarming family update that brought the team together off the field.

According to Drue’s wife, Jackie Tranquill‘s recent Instagram update, the couple is expecting their fourth child.

The Chiefs’ star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, was among the first to react to the news. He commented, “Congrats!” below the couple’s Instagram post.

Mahomes has always put his foot forward when it comes to keeping the team united. It’s not the first time we have witnessed Patrick pouring in the congratulations message to his teammate. He has always wished them the best beyond the gridon. A few weeks ago, tight end Noah Gray, along with his wife Mary Elsie, announced the birth of their child. And Mahomes didn’t miss the opportunity to congratulate the couple.

Tranquill has been dating Jackie since their high school days at Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and got married before his final season at Notre Dame in 2018. Drue shared their wedding picture on his Instagram account with an emotional caption.

”Watching my bride walk down the aisle was the most precious moment of my entire life. Thank you for lighting up my world Mrs. Tranquill, life is so much fun with you!!!”  We can witness Jackie in the stands cheering for him. Apart from that, Jackie has studied dietetics at Purdue University, and she works as a wellness educator at Saint Joseph Health System.

They already have three kids together, including a son, Elijah James, who is 5 years old, and two daughters, Anna Grace (4)and Mackenzie Joy (2).

Tranquill joined the Chiefs in 2023. Since then he has been one of the reliable defenders for Steve Spangnuolo. Through nine games, he had 40 tackles, and two sacks.

The couple is receiving love from not only the fans but also from the NFL circle as well.

The Chiefs’ official handle also commented, “Congratulations Tranquill ♥♥♥.” It did not stop there as the Chiefs’ owner, Clark Hunt’s daughter, Gracie Hunt, also slid into the comment section with a sweet and short “Congratulations 🎉🥺.”

The sports analyst also showed his love, as he commented, ”Congrats brother !!!!” The fans weren’t behind, as they also showed their love. Commenting, ”Love y’all and can’t wait for another beautiful Tranquill baby !!! Baby besties loading 🤭🤭🩷💙.” Another one wrote, ”Congrats you guys !!”

The whole fandom shared the same emotion. One of happiness and gratitude for the couple. As they continue to shower the couple with love. As one fan wrote, ”Woohoo ! So exciting, Tranquills 🤩.”

Moving forward, the Chiefs will look to surpass their back-to-back losses by winning against the Broncos, who are currently leading the AFC West with an 8-2 record.
