Ayesha Curry recently claimed that she was “slowly getting better” at her newest hobby. She also deemed PGA Director of Player Development, Jackie Riegle’s coaching “commendable.” The missing piece in those Instagram stories? Stephen Curry. Not this time, though! The NBA legend has publicly shown his support for his wife’s newest hobby.

Just a few hours ago, Ayesha posted a carousel of pictures of her enjoying a day on the golf course with her friends. The Warriors star wasted no time reposting the Instagram story and writing, “Yes Lawd! We working on our game over here🙌.“ Roy Ayers’ Everybody Loves the Sunshine played as background music!
The original post by Stephen Curry’s wife had the caption, “Fun day out with the LADIES WHO GOLF.” This public affirmation from the 2023 American Century Championship winner is truly heartwarming to see, especially after the recent not-so-kind headlines about their family dynamic in the media.

In July, Stephen and Ayesha even curated a special playlist for their golf days, inviting fans to drop song ideas under the caption: “Golf and good music > Let me know if I’m missing any songs! 👀”. Ayesha showed her support by re-sharing the playlist and writing, “This cuuuute. Hit em straight my baby.”

Amidst the golf craze, though, Ayesha has always been on par with her fashion, rocking a black sports skirt paired with a full-sleeve V-neck. A classy yet sporty outfit! Steph’s recent absence on the green is surprising, given his passion for golf and the fact that he loves teeing up almost as much as he loves sinking threes.
However, this is probably because the Splash Bro has been occupied with the NBA’s preseason schedule. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had stated Stephen Curry was “banged up” and missed the recent Lakers game, though he is expected to play against the Trail Blazers. Now that we have the golf part sorted, what’s the chatter been about the Currys recently?
What did Ayesha Curry recently say about her family life and expectations?
Ayesha Curry is facing significant criticism online after her comments from the Call Her Daddy podcast resurfaced and went viral. The businesswoman made candid revelations about her early life before marrying the NBA star. “I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married. I thought I was gonna be a career girl and that’s it, and then it happened so early in my life,” she stated.

She described herself at the time of her marriage as a “naive, very young, unpolished 22-year-old” who lacked life experience. Interestingly, she also revealed that she knew little to nothing about Steph’s extracurricular activities in high school, which later became the foundation of his career.

“Apparently, he was, but I genuinely didn’t pay attention to that. I grew up in such an art-driven family that sports outside of Doug Flutie, playing for the Buffalo Bills, it just wasn’t a thing in my house,” Ayesha revealed.
The Splash Bro’s rise in stardom naturally brought a lot of eyeballs, which was something that also took Ayesha by surprise.
“It’s a double-edged sword because parts of it have afforded me doors to be opened. I obviously have to walk through them and put in the work to stay in the room. But that would be the elephant in the room. I’m grateful for that side of things, but on the flipside, I, in the beginning I hated it so much. I did not sign up for that,” the 36-year-old confessed.

Stephen Curry has always responded to criticism uniquely. Back in February, when his wife was facing the heat, he showcased a home-cooked meal of crab mac ‘n cheese, roasted asparagus, and fried chicken that Ayesha had prepared before quipping, “She ain’t put that meal before me though!”
If you ask me, does the criticism really affect the Currys? Probably not. Simply because they know that for one hater, their journey is inspiring to at least ten other youngsters who are genuinely interested in making something of their lives.
