On December 19th, Jake Paul prepares to face the biggest challenge of his career. After his fight with Gervonta Davis failed to come together, ‘The Problem Child’ will step in against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami. The stakes now place two of the most popular boxers on a collision course to settle who’s the best, but the main event won’t be the only attraction. Two UFC legends also gear up to scrap on the undercard.

Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva will return to the ring to face the former 170 lbs kingpin Tyron Woodley on the undercard. Both UFC legends have fought Jake Paul in their previous boxing fights and lost. Now they will come back and clash at an event where Paul will be headlining. The boxing match will take place in the cruiserweight division, which is set at 195 lbs, and the fight is scheduled for six rounds.

Popular social media account Championship Rounds posted the fight poster of Anderson Silva vs Tyron Woodley on X and wrote in the caption, “🚨 BREAKING: Anderson Silva will fight Tyron Woodley on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua.”

For the UFC fans who watched ‘The Spider’ and ‘The Chosen One’ rule their divisions, this matchup feels nothing short of a superfight, especially since they never got to witness this clash during their prime UFC days. However, reportedly, Silva was initially set to fight his former opponent Chris Weidman on the same event, but the American former champ couldn’t make it because of an injury. Still, that doesn’t mean two of the most decorated former UFC champs can’t put on a show for the fans inside the ring.

In fact, Silva’s boxing career hasn’t been bad at all. The former 185 lbs king has already fought Julio César Chávez Jr. and even went into a competitive fight against Paul as well. On the flip side, Woodley hasn’t fought since ‘The Problem Child’ brutally knocked him out in their 2021 boxing rematch. So, it’s going to be intriguing to see whether ‘T-Wood’ can actually perform after a long hiatus.

As the December 19th boxing card shapes up with this star-studded undercard, the main event also catches some heat, as Jake Paul keeps making wild claims—just like he always does before a fight.

Jake Paul promises to knockout Antony Joshua

As Jake Paul prepares to step inside the ring to face Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight showdown at the Kaseya Center, boxing fans have finally started to give him some respect for taking on a proper challenge since his loss to Tommy Fury. However, with less than a month remaining before this highly anticipated bout, fans are picking the former heavyweight champ to make this fight a one-sided affair, and the reason is simple: the size difference.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer stands at 6’1″ with a 76″ reach, while the Brit towers over him at 6’6″ with an 82″ reach. Still, Paul doesn’t seem bothered by this fact, as he remains confident that a knockout win over one of the most decorated heavyweight boxers of all time is waiting for him.

In a recently uploaded promotional video, Paul said, “Make no mistake, this is the biggest fight of my career. I’m walking into the lion’s den. I’m doing something that no one else has ever done before. I, Jake Joseph Paul, will knock out, defeat, and embarrass Anthony Joshua on Friday, Dec. 19, live on Netflix… The biggest fight of 2025. USA vs. the UK. He’s got the belts, the size, the history, but I have the b**s. Be careful what you wish for. Jake vs. Joshua, judgment day.”

And those are some really confident words from Paul as he heads toward the most formidable task of his career so far. If he actually passes it with flying colors, it might turn into a historic upset, and he might even earn a shot at someone like Tyson Fury next. That said, can he actually do it?
